Grace Hye created this piece with the concept of conveying hidden messages within fashion art garments as a metaphor for our society.
Despite the remarkable advancements in technology, healthcare, and society in contemporary society, unexpected events and incidents always remain a challenge that we must be cautious about. Our uncertain future can be viewed from both positive and negative perspectives, much like a dichotomy of good and evil.
To capture these blurred boundaries, we employed stencil technique to imprint words onto fabric, one by one. Just as the pieces of printed fabric come together to form a single sculpture, our future, too, will be shaped by the combination of these words, leading us towards one of the potential futures.
